Israel Medical ETA-IL is an online travel authorisation that allows its holder to enter and stay in the country for medical purposes, including treatment, consultation, follow-up medical care, and diagnostic evaluations.

Validity and Stay Duration 

Israel Medical ETA-IL is a multiple-entry eTA valid for 2 years, or until the passport expires, whichever comes first, and allows a stay of up to 90 days per visit.

Standard processing is the default option and incurs no additional charge, while faster processing options incur an extra fee.

Medical Treatment in Israel

Israel Medical ETA-IL holders must carry the following documents on arrival:

  • Printed copy of the approved ETA and passport (used at the time of application)
  • Invitation letter from an Israeli medical institution 
  • Proof of sufficient funds to support the stay 
  • Signed declaration confirming departure after treatment
  • An affidavit signed by the patient
  • Patient’s medical condition details
  • Proof of treatment payment arrangement (minimum 30,000 NIS)

Travelling with a Medical Attendant

If travelling with a medical attendant, the attendant is required to obtain Israel medical attendant ETA-IL. 

The primary applicant can add the accompanying attendant to the same application by using the “Add Applicant” option.
