What is Israel Transit ETA-IL?

The Israel Transit ETA-IL is an electronic travel authorisation for eligible travellers transiting through Israel, allowing short entry into the country before continuing to their next destination.

Note: Approval is required before travel and is electronically linked to the traveller’s passport.

Israel Transit ETA-IL Requirements

Applicants are required to submit:

  • A clear scanned copy of the passport bio-data page

Note: Upon arrival in Israel, the border official may ask the traveller to show an onward flight ticket and entry permission for the next destination.

The requirement for the Israel transit ETA-IL may change depending on Israel’s visa policy.
